The atmosphere here seems great. Mexican food is easy. It is good like mom cooks it. The chips and salsa were good, and salsa could use some flavor. It had good heat but not a great flavor. My wife had 2 enchiladas and a taco. Cheese in the enchiladas was right out of a bag of shredded cheese. (Still cold) she asked if it could be actually cooked. They microwaved it and brought it back literally 1 minute later, so gross. However, the tortillas are homemade, we think. Taco ground beef whitish in color like beef that had sat in water. That's only the first dish the second was la favorita it just wasn't good...
Our family has been to LaHa many times. The food is tasty and priced right. Service is hit-and-miss, depending on the day and time, but main supper times usually have pretty good service. The atmosphere is low key and family friendly, though it 's usually pretty loud and hard to have a conversation. Great place to take the family out meet up with a group of friends, not such a great place to go on a date. Kid-friendliness: Plenty of high chairs and booster seats!
