It's hard to grab a table. It seems really popular for after church lunch. Great group of people, a little light on drinks.
Best Home town cookin. Always friendly, and plenty to choose from to eat.
I sell them firewood, haven't tried nothing yet but they seem like good people and cooks
You want your Great Grand-Mother 's and Grand-Mother 's cooking? This is the place. If from Atlanta, this place is reminiscent of Mary Mac 's in Atlanta when the Lupo family owned the restaurant back in the '60 's and '70 's regarding the food savoriness and taste. We had fried chicken, collard greens, green beans, mashed potatoes with gravy, mac cheese, dressing, cranberry, pecan pie, like Momma used to make! and some of the best sweet in the South. Cafeteria self served style, come early, or, don 't complain about the offerings. but most delicious! Ignore the decor, its a basic cafeteria of sorts, that 's not what you came here for! It 's the food!
Incredibly great Southern food and very reasonably priced. Try the fried chicken and sweet potato pie.
