That was the sweetest little lunch place. The portions are super small, so recommend to order ~2-3 things for lunch. We had tomatoes/Zucchini soup and salmon sandwiches. I think only 2 of the menu items could not be GF, but the rest was! We waited outside in the rain for ~10mins for a table, but it was good to wait
Server asked if anyone at our table was gluten free. I said yes and she indicated which items were not gluten free. All sandwiches can be made with gluten free bread. I ordered 3 sandwiches and the GF bread was delicious
Can order GF options and they say they are coeliake safe separate preparation) But as coeliake as always need to be careful they use oatmilk none GF certified) for their coffees and don’t understand that it’s not safe.
The server was very knowledgeable about celiac and where she didn’t have an answer about specific dishes asked for help. We received a small painted cube that was placed next to the person with celiac to help people not make mistakes. The food was good and the tapas-like style of dishes was interesting. Worth a visit, especially if you’re at the Westerstraat Market or otherwise in that neighborhood.
