I'm not with you just because I'm the same.
Had only chicken fried steak, delicious and so crispy! susie was also great!
Great view of a small airport with the mountains as background. perfect diner tea and the locally made strawberry rhubarb jelly was a nice note. this place is known for its breakfast and its cake. a hidden gem in anchorage.
My man and I stay in the merrill inn two doors down, and I heard they have big cakes. I called 10 minutes before they were closed, and the woman who makes the cake cut me a huge piece of Rhabarb Piee for which should die. on Sunday afternoon it was scary to eat on Sunday, but unfortunately they are closed on Monday and Tuesday. our loss. nice, cleaner place. pretty worn outside, but the customer service alone would hold me back to try more from their menu!
I was looking for an old fashioned diner and this place didn't disappoint. Good food and big portions at a reasonable price, friendly staff.
