The bistro is located close to Lunans Bay, a fabulous beach. You can sit inside the bistro or outside. The food was delicious, with a wide selection of vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options. The staff was very friendly.
Beautiful location, the food and drinks were amazing. We decided to visit last minute and the waiter quickly set up a table and prepared our meals, even though it was late in the day. The restaurant was clean and inviting. I highly recommend it for anyone looking to satisfy their hunger.
A difficult review to write as Imrie's was shut on the night we visited. However, we ate in the bar of the main hotel and it was convivial, substantial and tasty (and not expensive). The staff (Aiden basically) were friendly and efficient All in all, a pleasant experience. Room was comfortable and dog friendly. Can certainly recommend for an overnight stay.
We stayed for 3 nights to attend a friend's wedding. Arrived Friday eve and left Mon am. The wedding was really lovely and the staff were amazing. We had breakfast on 3 mornings. Very nice. Vegetarian option very good. We also had supper there on Sunday evening. Very nice again but menu for Vegetarian was limited to 1 item. Think the menu changes for winter. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Only downside I found was in trying to contact the hotel. They need to work on the communication between staff and potential customers by telephone only ph between 3pm and 7pm and email. When you want to speak to a actual person you got no chance. That being said we had a great time and would certainly recommend the food and the venue. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Special thanks to Aiden and Elaine.
