However, the 2 for 1 breakfast deal (costing around US$10) with complimentary freshly squeezed orange juice, coffee, and free Wi-Fi made it an exceptional spot for breakfast. We enjoyed the huevos rancheros and Denver omelette, which we highly recommend.
I have never encountered a place like this in Guatemala in all my years living here. The restaurant charges significantly more than the prices listed on the menu, about 30-50% more due to using old menus. When we ordered a Long Island iced tea and a beer, the bartender tried to hide the bill when we went to pay. They also did not provide us with a receipt, only a POS receipt, which is illegal according to SAT regulations in Guatemala. It is clear that they did not want us to see the prices. I may report them for this dishonest practice. There are plenty of honest bars in Antigua, just take a short walk and you'll find a better option. I typically don't write negative reviews, but I cannot support places that take advantage of tourists. Antigua is a wonderful destination, don't let this restaurant ruin your vacation.
Great coffee and breakfast with an amazing view of the city
The views from the rooftop are great as long as there a bit of cloud cover. Their drinks are good and food is pretty good. Only visited once during my trip but could have gone multiple times.
Go here for the views. Drinks decent, service about the same, begrudgingly... It's a little small and cramped and whilst we didn't try the food, we compensated by ordering a decent amount of cocktails. They is a selection of interesting local drinks, cocktails, liquors, beers to try. But some are a little difficult to decipher from the menu and the staff seem frustrated by repeatedly explaining them to tourists.
