La Maison De Jean Pizzeria - AOSTA

I was very disappointed by this place. The service is terrible and the food even worse. 99% of it is just prepackaged food that they resell as if it was home and freshly made. Just the location is nice. At dinner they do not serve pizzas, which thing you find out just by getting there.

Great pizza’s. Decent sized glass of mulled wine. Limited selection of beers. Nice inside toilets. Central location near ski school Pila.

Extremely slow and bad service. Waited more than half and hour just to order. After 40 min they told two of the courses was not available and they didn’t have more beer.

Very convenient location and clearly busy. The pizza is very nice, being made in a pizza oven. Unfortunately, that is all the good. The service was quite frankly, terrible. Staff are rude, the lady taking orders at the front was bad mouthing the customers, and while they obviously have a system, they make no attempt to explain it to you to you, or to help navigate their (over complex) system You can easily wait 45 minutes plus for food. Today I waited 10 minutes in the queue to order pizza, only to be told there was no pizza. The people after us were able to order pizza, so I queued again to be told, yes they will take an order. Then 45min later, my pizzas were made but they leave the customers to negate who’s is who’s There are better options

This place is well located to take advantage of the majority of Pila skiers, opposite the ski school. Went in here every day of the week due to some friends spending more time on nearby slopes. Pizza was nice but they randomly stopped serving it some days, other food was pretty average. Not really good value for money and staff didnt seem overly pleased other than one guy who made an effort to be cheery. Saving grace is the warm fireplace inside and the nice seating area outside.
