I also appreciated the fact that the savory rolls were not too big and reasonably priced, making it a perfect choice when you're not very hungry or simply want to add a little extra something to your meal. I will definitely be returning in the future!
The food at this restaurant is superb. The pies are bursting with flavor, and the sausage rolls are not just a bunch of pastry with minimal filling. The pastie was absolutely delicious, and it's hard to find a good pastie these days.
Oh my goodness! The custard-filled croissants are worth the drive! They are absolutely amazing!
The Chunky Steak Pepper pies are the best I've ever had. It's a pity they don't have a Sydney outlet, so we take any chance we can to drop in to Appin whenever we head south.
I visited Appin bakery today after going for a local bushwalking as I felt like a snack and needed to buy some things for home. I bought a loaf of white bread, two cream buns, large coffee and a fairy cake for 20.70 cents, and I don’t know what they put in the coffee whether it’s the beans or the milk but I really enjoyed the coffee here. Also there was a extensive choice of pies, cakes and various other baked items to choose from. Worth a visit if you are passing through.
