Cozzy Corner - Appleton

The food at this restaurant was decent, but not outstanding. The chicken and butter pecan waffle had a good waffle but not enough meat on the chicken. The ribs were okay, and the hush puppies were nicely fried but lacked flavor. I did enjoy the okra. The service was alright until a staff member entered and loudly complained about someone she didn't like, which was inappropriate for a restaurant setting. I wanted to love this place, but I didn't. While I liked it, I'm not sure if I would choose to dine there again.

The decor and atmosphere is amazing, celebrating black musicians through the decades and reminding you just how much you love their work. The food is astonishingly good, both in taste and presentation, and it's real authentic soul food. The service isfriendly, attentive, welcoming. The prices are surprisingly low as well. You just can't go wrong here. It's not just dinner.It's an experience.

My family had a great experience at The Cozy Corner! The staff was friendly and the atmosphere was charming with plenty to look at. Our waitress recommended the Gumbo Cheese Fries and they were delicious! We can't wait to return!

The Cozzy Corner in downtown Appleton serves up delicious soul food and Southern comfort food. The ribs are particularly flavorful and reasonably priced. Don't miss out on their waffles, which are bursting with flavor and have a unique texture. The chicken and waffles is a standout dish, but there are plenty of other waffle options to choose from as well. The service is helpful and efficient, and the presentation and temperature of the food are spot-on. While the restaurant could use a remodel, the fantastic food more than makes up for it. The fried okra is a must-try side dish, and the blues music playing in the background adds to the cozy atmosphere. I can't wait to go back and indulge in more delicious food and waffles.

FANTASTIC Having my relatives and both sides of the family from the South and generations going back in Mississippi and Memphis, I miss the true southern food. First time here, got the 2 meat plate with catfish and sausage and collard greens, hush puppiesand corn bread. The collard greens were amazing, the hush puppies were Perfect. Everything was perfect! Can?t wait to come backand try more!
