It’s actually sad that there’s no flavor in most of there food and the burritos ARE NOT BURRITOS, there just giant tacos with a tortilla filled with meat , no rice beans guacamole etc…. Just a tortilla and the meat you choose … they give you sour cream on the side ….ON THE SIDE ….. WEIRD !!! If you want real Mexican food I recommend your nearest taco truck , the prices are wayyyy over priced for the unseasoned white washed food they serve
Wouldn’t call this food Mexican, nothing about it was Mexican..
Very good Mexican cuisine, it's fresh and tasty. In addition, the prices are very reasonable: we ate with 2 adults and 2 children, for $60 with tips. A good address.
We’ve eaten here many times in are over 30 yrs in Aptos. Sometimes it very good (4-5 stars) other times mediocre. Tonight was mediocre. Good chips, salsa and margaritas is their standard fair and is always good. Their service is always superb. That said, the food tonight left us wanting. My taco meat was overcooked and very tough. My wife's enchilada was dry and so-so. I still recommend this Aptos restaurant and view this as one off.
Had a trip to the beach, and after we decided to get some food. We always try something different, and Manuel's had high reviews. Being Mexican myself, I thought this would be a great spot due to the reviews. Unfortunately, most of the reviews aren't from Latinos. There was no flavor in the food, I got Chille Verde, and they served me a plate of meat, no Chile Verde. My son's got the chille Colorado and the plate was the same, no flavor. I'm sorry, but you need to step up the flavor. Got home made my own mexican authentic chilled Verde, and it was perfect. Unfortunately, this was a one and done for me and my family
