Everything else was terrible. I was surprised to see the owners and managers drinking before the bistro and being loud. That's so unprofessional. The owner must not know much about the property of a company, because if she did, she would not be so unprofessional what to eat and drink in the dining room during business hours, and as far as the manager goes, she never came to ask my table if everything was okay after I complained about my food. I saw my server telling a dark haired young woman manager that my food was ineisable, and she did nothing and still the owner did. What kind of manager does that leave on her shift? Not one who wants to run my restaurant. My service was okay, but nothing special, my food wasn't so great. I had the steak and Fritz, although it looked very nice on the record, is not good at all. I had done well and when my meal was brought out my steak was red in the middle and my Fritz was soggy and oily. My husband had the salmon, again it looked very nice on the plate, but was not in taste. It was so bland and the spinach tasted like it wasn't fresh. I want to know where they get their so-called fresh products??? I will honestly say that I am not back to this establishment EVER. In my opinion, I would not advise anyone to go there if you want a great service and a good meal...
This place is so loud and cheap the feeling that prices will push you even more. The food is so heavy and inconspicuous that I don't get it back to everyone. I am really disappointed by this place, Maybe the manager should stop drinking in the “bar” and ask us how food was. I know they don't care because they're busy, but the novelty will soon run out. Oh, I forgot their dessert tart, that was really good.
We had great hopes for this restaurant as we live nearby, and my wife loves French cuisine. After two visits to this facility, we will not hold back a third time. Where do I start? The receptionist was irresistible and ate and drank at her station. The waiting staff is friendly, but not very competent. The food is mediocre. The dining area was too loud for a cozy or romantic evening. The food service from the kitchen is slow to come with my duck for over 45 minutes. I had better bread on a hoagie. My salad wasn't inspired. For a vegetarian, the menu is extremely limited. On the bright side my wife has her main course, Bouibaise, which is the “special” on Friday nights. The crepe we had for dessert was OK, but the portion too small. If you want a beautiful French meal, take the additional 15 minutes drive in Center City,
First of all I had to call the restaurant 5 times before anyone answered the phone. When I arrived the hostess did not seem put together and was very short. We did have a nice French waiter that did give good service, but could of known the menu better. We had soup and escargot. Onion Soup was the best part of the meal. Escargot were rubbery and had no taste. For entrees, the coq au vin was very dry and lacked taste. The steak was fatty and tasted old! The frites were not fresh, hard and cold. We didn't even stick around for dessert. The waiter was nice, but I would never go there again because the quality of food was HORRIBLE!!
Hands down the best steak frites I've ever had. I'm picky about my steak and it was perfectly prepared. The specials looked great, portions are generous, but not angry. The meerrot scallops special appetizer and French onion soup were fantastic, and the various pate and charcuterie tablets looked amazing. Great, relaxed atmosphere, with excellent, attentive, friendly service. A friend and I kept in a mood, and now we definitely come back and bring friends!
