A little cheaper than Zig Zag, Zingaro or Chicha, Nina-Yaku is still a good restaurant with kind of a date night feel to it. The food is delicious, although the portions are a bit small (by American standards). Order the set menu if you want to save a few soles, the avocado salad was delicious and so fresh.
We were walking in the city, searching for a place to have dinner and we crossed this restaurant. We saw a dinner menu with a good price and the place had a mix of casual, elegant and oriental decoration and design. It just was our best choice within Arequipa! The staff, presentation of the food, the food itself and the portions were perfect!
I came to try the Cuy! Lovely setting, very relaxed full of locals. So much to choose from, but I had to try Cuy before leaving Peru. Good service as far as guinea pig goes well I tried it.
Our food was served rather cold than hot! Real bummer! We had alpaca which was delicious. The portions look small so if you're hungry you either order an appetizer too or go somewhere else. However, we were full afterwards. Another drawback was the running TV. Although it was on mute and music was played instead. Still, no need for a TV then
You have to try their Alpaca. The sauce that comes with it is a delight! Their salad was quite delicious as well
