Great food, very friendly and quick service. My favorites are the Flameado with chicken and the sour cream chicken enchiladas. Chef's kiss!
The thing that first attracted us to El Gabacho was the John Wayne theme my husband loves. Then it became a regular spot since it’s so close to our home and the food was good for the price. My son asked to go there for his birthday dinner on a Tuesday and with very little notice they had us set up in a private room for a party of 10 and we had great service, and most importantly the birthday boy felt recognized from everyone that came through from the owner to the servers. He was also treated with a whole plate of ice cream nachos made with sopapillas, ice cream, strawberries and chocolate drizzle. The way they made my son feel and the good food will keep us coming back.
This has long been a favorite spot of ours in Arlington. It used to be a great place to get cheap, strong margaritas and good chips and salsa. They’ve raised their prices though and it’s no longer that. Wish we knew the Smoky margaritas were $23. Insane pricing.
If I could give 10 stars on service then I would. We were there for maybe 5 minutes and Sharkie the manager was sitting next to us asking about our day. Rachel was our server and she was absolutely wonderful. Heck the gentleman cleaning the tables even had a funny conversation with us. Now the food! It was so good. Chip and salsa are the best I have had. Their rice is the best. Our serving was so big that we got to bring that home and enjoy it later and this morning. I cannot wait to go back.!!!
