Maxwells Beach Cafe - Arnolds Park

Our family has come to Okoboji several times since a few summers and we typically have our places that we eat. In the last summer we have tried various dining places, and today, the 4th. June, we decided for the first time to taste Maxwell's food, and we were impressed by the service and the food. My wife ordered the avocado toast, our daughter, the children angel hair pasta that comes with a frisbee under the plate for the children, and me the soulred tuna sandwich. The whole food was perfectly cooked, the sauces with everyone were very good and we all enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. We are all a great place to eat and relax.

My family decided to try Maxwell's for lunch. They were good for lunch. Great server and excellent food. They even gave our child their own appetizer board before the adults. We loved lunch so much we returned to dinner!

Stopped last night for dinner and appetizers and I was very impressed. The staff was very attentive and friendly and the room was very welcoming. After about 15 min pooling via the menu, I finally decided on the Steak Au Provre for my main and the Scallops dynamite as an appetizer. The scallops were served top toast points with a crab and cream cheese mix on it! Delicious!!! My steak came perfectly boiled to medium rarely as I ordered, and the pepper sauce with it was so delicious. I had a fantastic time thumbing through her well curated wine list that I can't wait to order from the next time. If you or your family are in the Okoboji area, I cannot recommend this place enough!

Really great location next to the park and the water... Italian nachos here are very good and drinks are also. Overall food is good, but is not necessarily great.

Maxwell’s is a true Okoboji gem! Not only is the scenery right next to the lake gorgeous but the staff takes obvious pride their food and customer service. Whether you are a local or a visitor, Maxwell’s is a must!
