Mcdonald's Ashburton

The restaurant is situated in a retail park near an intersection. Accessing the location can be a bit tricky, especially during peak traffic hours. However, the service was excellent. There is ample parking available, along with clean restroom facilities and plenty of seating options. A drive-thru is also offered.

I wanted to take a moment to commend the very tall young man working today, November 18, 2023. He was tirelessly wiping tables and trays, mopping, dusting the floors, and repeatedly checking and emptying the rubbish bins. His efforts made the entire restaurant spotless. Young employees like him at McDonald's are truly rare. Well done, young man! Your hard work did not go unnoticed, and I sincerely thank you for it. AAA

This is the perfect spot for breakfast while traveling from Christchurch to Lake Tekapo. There are plenty of parking options available, and several other stores nearby. The restrooms are clean and well-maintained. It tends to get busy from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. I’d like to give a special shout-out to McDonald's for their Happy Meals, which make the trip much easier with kids in the car!
