They were not wrong about the quality of product being presented, I had lunch with my food rep and he mentioned that this was his favorite kind of barbeque as well. (Texas/Kansas mix I believe) I had some burnt ends too which I somehow didn't get a picture of apparently, the customer service was as great as it gets, they were very knowledgeable and had a strong sense of pride backing their work/product. I will definitely be back! I'll review the brewery Attached later on, the brew-flight I had after my meal was phenomenal.
Don’t bother with this location—go to the downtown one on a weekday before 6 PM if you can. We tried the downtown location (vibe was cute and the line was out the door), but had to reroute to the Sweeten Creek location because downtown was out of A LOT by 7 PM. Then the Sweeten Creek location was out of nearly everything, but still wanted to sell what they had left—cold, dried up food. The atmosphere at this brewery is also lackluster. Not worth the money or the time. Cold, mediocre food—and terrible inventory management problems at both locations.
In my experience this location has subpar food compared to the downtown location. The cornbread is always really good but the bbq seems to be hit or miss. The pulled pork was almost inedible… gave that straight to the dogs which is hurtful because at $16 a pound i expect quality pulled pork. Half of the brisket was fat and I did not ask for moist pieces. food quality does not match the price.
Wow, what a great place to get some great tasting meat. The food was amazing. the staff was friendly. This is a down-home atmosphere that you will enjoy. Check it out!
I love this place. The only complaint I have, is they NEVER have banana pudding.
