Claddagh Pub Asheville

I've come through a couple times and while most of the food is pretty standard bar food good, what you expect the chicken and bacon boxty is a whole other story. This is soooo tasty and I will honestly get this every time I come from now on. Also their beer selection is pretty good too and seems to rotate out every now and again with a lot of local options! Staff were super nice and friendly as well!

Good beer menu and seems to be kept fine, but the food was very poor. I had shepherds pie and my wife had bangers and mash. The pluses: the potato is OK. The minuses: the vegetables in my pie tasted like they?d come from a can or the freezer, they were awful, and the bangers were mainly meal and not close to real bangers in terms of spices. The onions in the gravy weren?t cooked, fine if you like some crunch in with the mash. So if you go don?t get the food, stay withthe beer. And don?t expect a particularly authentic interior either, it?s very basic and an Irish towel here and there don?t add much.

My son enjoys all things Ireland so he and I hit up this Irish restaurant and pub. He had the Jameson Burger and said it was one of the best burgers he's had. That's big props to the restaurant. I went for a more traditional dish with chicken pie.

That was a nice Irish bar in the city. I enjoyed a guinness with a mozzarella cheese while we were watching people on the outside terrace.
