My husband said the grits were very good, choosing plain grits over the cheesy grits. There were several styles of breakfast potatoes, eggs any way you wanted them prepared by the “egg chef”, along with a big dish of scrambled eggs. Bacon, ham, sausage, pork tenderloin, gravy, eggs Benedict, fresh fruit salad, toast, big biscuits, a tray of sweet breakfast treats, and nice looking pancakes. I’m sure I missed other dishes on the 2 large buffets. There is also a menu to choose other options. If your looking for a good Sunday breakfast, you must try this restaurant. Prices are quite reasonable. We knew it had to be good because so many of the law enforcement personnel were eating there. Those folks know where to find good food. Definitely going back when we’re in Asheville. Enjoy!
The breakfast was delicious and the waitress was very friendly. I recommend everyone come here. I will continue returning here.
Best fried fish around. Great service, great food, amd a fair price.
We went during the seafood buffet. I can say it was very good and fresh. The service was excellent. The restaurant was clean and neat. So for the value is excellent
We visited on our 50th wedding anniversary. We had called in advance and were given permission to bring our coonhound as long as we ate on wrap around deck. Our dog barked initially and intermittently but settled down when our food arrived. As many of the other patrons made their way to the parking lot past our outside table, they stopped to greet and pet our dog. The next night when we returned to the Fireplace we were surprised when we were told we were not welcome because our waitress and some patrons had complained about our dog's barking. I assume the waitress DID NOT complain about our 30 PERCENT tip. We drove away and ate at a different restaurant where we welcomed and even asked to return.
