I personally like this restaurant. we went for a casual and low key dinner and it was just perfect. the restaurant is beautiful and cozy and they feel like home. also tables are well spaced, which is beautiful. we ordered the pakora for starter and bhuna ghosht and chickenbiryani for the net. all dishes were excellent. the pakora was beautiful and crispy and hot on the inside. the mint cutney served with it very well paired. the biryani had great authentic aromas and delicious coriander and capsicum. loved the taste of biryani, also served in a generous part. the lamb was a little sharp but perfect for my partner and I, just the right amount of heat and super delicate lamb. we have the gulab jamun for dessert, the beautiful and warm, sweet and a perfect opportunity to finish the dinner. the couple that ran it was super welcoming and ready to make big suggestions. the service of all employees was very good. we will definitely come back to try more. the bill was also very reasonable.
What a shameful tandoori to see closed. another sacrifice of covid I guess. many thanks to the Tandoori team for their great restaurant and I hope they will be back a day.
From here tonight, ordered online at 17 o'clock without the delivery not from 6 o'clock. I ordered 2 x mixed plates for $30 total, each came with only 1 samosa, 1 piece huh, 1 small hug kebab and 1 lamb cut....for $15, they come up what a break! the lamb curry was not fresh either complete money waste, never order again from here, they recommend khana khazana further down the road, much better!
Chicken Madras was tender and juicy, lovely flavours, steaming hot. Cheese naan was just as delicious slightly on the greasy, heavy side so might stick with the plain or garlic naan next time. Kashmiri pulao was delightful.
