Luckily there were cute art shops around to entertain my brother while we waited. The wait ended up being about 2 hours. Lobster Roll really packed with lobster meat. I especially enjoyed how they buttered the bread. Scallops perfectly cooked. Would order it again Fried zucchini more dough than i expected but decent Wild blueberry cake delicious. Must get this Sodas were also good. Preferred the blueberry one. (Not a big soda drinker) I was skeptical if it was worth it. Afterwards, i tried a few other places and this was def the best one by far! The others were skimpy on the lobster. Wasn’t cleaned correctly and had some pieces of the shell. I would def stop here again.
What can I say about Red's Eats. Yes, there is a long line/wait. But it is absolutely the best lobster roll we've ever eaten in our lives. The quality, the quantity. Everything about the generous lobster rolls are just superb. It's a bucket list meal if you're anywhere close to this area of Maine!
In Maine 16 days and Reds Eats was by far the best Lobster and fried shrimp! The service and attention to detail was fabulous as well! Get there at least 30 minutes before they open or you may have to wait a couple of hours. IT IS WORTH IT!
Let me first say this place is worth every minute of waiting! I waited 2 hours and met several people from other parts of the country. Had a great visit and even great shrimps in the line. The service when I got the front of the line was top notch. The people I know were friendly/informative/efficient. The lobster rolls? Not only the most delicious thing I ever had, but TONS of fresh lobsters on the roll. They were served with hot butter. We also got the onion rings and they were unique with a delicious sauce! The big surprise here was she offered 100% beef hot dogs for only $1! That was able to compensate for the amount we spent on adults and shave the children around them! Understand? Go ahead!
5 star food, 1 star waiting. Granted, they can not help and they do their best to spend water, parasols and the occasional snack for your trip the line. You need to know you're gonna wait, and you have to agree. We ordered lobster rolls, because obviously that's what you're going for. I can't say they were better than the best lobster I had, but there were enough lobster meat for 2 rolls on 1 roll. I couldn't even say there was a bun down there. Bun was roasted with butter (definite must) and had the lobster up. Comes with one side of butter and then Mayo on request. We waited 2 hours on Saturday of the working day, and roles were $25/ea at the time. Not sure I would wait again, but it was definitely at least once to do.
