Now this is 5:20 in the evening at dinner time. She then says it will be 9 minutes for the legs to come up. I tell them that I?ll wait and pull up to the front of the building. After 30 minutes, the manager comes out and says it will be another 5 minutes on the tenders. I then go inside and get my money back. The manager just looked at me with this lost look. 30 minutes waiting on a few pieces of chicken is uncalled for, especially when they were not busy when I pulled up in line initially. Terrible management. I will never go back to that location again.
The past two days I have went. On the first day I ordered two spicy chicken sandwiches. I received one, the other was full of mayonnaise. The second day I was asked twice if I ordered two spicy sandwiches with no pickles. The girl then proceeds to give me one sandwich and the other was NOT a spicy and also BURNT AND OBVIOUSLY OLD. The bread was STALE. This Popeyes is not recommended and horrible.
I had a chicken sandwich, coleslaw, biscuit, tenders and mashed potatoes delivered. The sandwich was supposed to have Mayo and pickles. It came dry, the coleslaw was warm and tasted sour like it was bad and I was supposed to get two packs of sauce one of which I paid for because it was extra. I tried to call them but all I got was a recording that said bye and hung up. Oh yeah, a sandwich bun usually has a bottom and top but I had two bottom pieces. Extremely poor customer service and I got spoiled food. They are lucky they didn?t answer the phone. If I was able to drive I would have gone there and had some serious words with the manager.
I really wanted to like this Popeyes. I had never been to any Popeyes so I finally wanted to try my local one. This is my third time coming here now and the first two times I went the signs were not even on. When I asked the girl why that was, she said they did not know how to turn it on. So I had to order my very first meal at Popeyes without a menu. Now fast forwarding to my third time, not a lot has improved. The signs are now on but the chicken sandwich bread was stale, the sweet tea was so sweet I did not finish it, and the staff seemed in a bad mood. Overall, very unimpressed with the conduct and quality of the restaurant as a whole. If you love Popeyes then maybe try one in Denton or Frisco.
Don't bother ordering ahead as it won't be ready when you get there. Chicken is good but know what the experience will be and be prepared to wait. May be easier to just walk in and order I guess but when I arrived there were at least 3 orders ahead of methat were mobile orders.
