Sweet Lorraine's Mac Cheez

Oh my goodness. If you enjoy Mac n cheese as much as I do, you absolutely must visit Sweet Lorraine's if you are in the area. There are numerous options to choose from, but being in the Detroit area, I had to try the coney dog Mac n cheese. It was absolutely amazing and I can't wait to go back as soon as possible. I would highly recommend it to everyone! 10/10 rating.

We had lunch today and it was fantastic. There was only one person working but she was working so hard and was so friendly! Would highly recommend and I hope she finds help soon!

Their Mac and cheese looked so good but my son who is 10 months old and wants to share everything I have is severely allergic to dairy. I asked if they have a dairy free option because you just never know especially in a big city. She said she did not BUTthe owner went above and beyond for my son. She offered freshly boiled noodles that wouldn't have any cross contamination andsome marinara sauce as well. My momma heart felt so seen and loved in that moment. She never once made me feel like a burdenwhich happens alot when I request dairy free. She actually seemed happy that she had something she was able to offer. And sinceshe gave me a little bit for my little guy I was able to indulge for myself. I had the macho nacho mac-n-cheese and my friendhad the BLT. Both were so good! We're from out of town but if and when we come back we'll definitely treat ourselves to thedelicious mac-n-cheese. Thank you so much for doing a little extra so my son could enjoy as well!

I am puzzled as to why this place is recommended as having great Mac and cheese in the area. It was priced at $9! It only had one scoop of liquid cheese added and when I asked for more, I was told it would cost an extra $1. I took it to my car to taste it and the cheese on top was just a lump. There were no seasonings, breadcrumbs, or chip toppings. I don't understand why it was so expensive. It was nothing special. I wish I had read reviews before I went.

To make matters worse, the mac and cheese was awful. The cheese looked chunky and old, the chicken looked purple and black, and the pita was inedible. We lost our appetite just looking at it. Now, two days later, both my sister and I have food poisoning. We were the only ones in our family to eat at this restaurant, and we are the only ones suffering. It's truly a shame.
