We got the corndog (there was no dog, just a lot of cheese and mayo), char siu cauliflower and waffle (more like sweet and sour, but delicious anyway), edamame with chimichurri (delicious), nasi goreng (more cheese and mayo) and a savory scone, which fed 3 of us comfortably. It was definitely some creative takes on comfort food and I'd be happy to come back again.
I took my mother on the basis of these recommendations. the food was delicious, the staff was friendly and it is a beautiful atmosphere. French toast and Korean cauliflower cabbage are legit. my mother is not vegan, but she already talks about coming back
Fat kitty cafe is the sweetest, friendly wee spot in mt eden. the menu eating is usually Asian fusion, which is a fun twist for brunch super vegan friendly and everything is very well marked. many delicious cupboard foods (including the best vegan cake I have ever tasted and also large coffee. absolutely love this place!
Beautiful personal, really loved the galereek wall with beautiful art from the local rainbow community. not fully vegan, but everything was very clearly marked, which is always appreciated and the cabinet eating also looked delicious. great addition to mt eden.
Epic selection of vegan cupboard food and delicious and creative soft drinks. Many delicious Asian fusion vegan dishes on their menu; I recommend the cauliflower waffles. And if you have a sweet tooth, then fat kitty is definitely one to check. Queer and alternative friendly place with a regularly growing collection of artwork available to buy also.
