I'm a restaurant tester and have visited a lot of diner shops in my career. But nobody impressed me like Solaf. I ate the best food of my life there. The meat was tender, juicy and spicy. It had a perfect balance between garlic, cumin and paprika. It slept on my tongue. The portion was generous and I couldn't get enough of it. The pommes were crispy, hot and salty. They were the ideal supplement for the meat. They had a light potato note and were not too fat. They were so good that I even ate them without ketchup. I can recommend this diner shop to anyone who is looking for an authentic and delicious Turkish food. He has far exceeded my expectations and I will definitely come back.
If I could give less stars, I would do that. Meat like rubber. You can't put vegetables in words. Sad that such a store may sell döner.
The offer hardly leaves a wish open, the prices are very moderate. The drinks are also cheap. The ambience is not very appealing. Outside there are also two tables. The staff is very nice, we'd come back.
We tested the Döner on site and he was far below the (in East Frisland anyway low) average. The meat is purchased in the lowest level of quality and even for a hacked man extremely bad and greasy. It has been cut badly so that it was almost cubes in bread. The bread is bought and heated, we suspect that the breads are held for several days, as it was very hard and old. The döner was filled in an inconvenient way, so that the ratio of meat to vegetables was absolutely not harmonized. The sauces are also only (probably) purchased standard lowest category. The ambience of the restaurant is at best appropriate to eat food there, despite the tables available, is probably not intended. We can only guess from a visit.
