Spartan Pizza - Austin

While visiting my daughter in Austin last week, she asked if I wanted to get pizza for lunch. I figure on 6th street in Austin it would be decent but I had no idea that this would be an Epic experience at Spartan Pizza. We got there for an early lunch. The inside seating space is small in this modern and clean pizzeria with an open kitchen right in front of you. Jazzy and I decided to get two 10” pizzas that we could split. I choose the Perseus which comes with cilantro pesto, sundried tomato, red onion, artichoke and feta cheese. She chose the Pandora with roasted garlic oil, carmelized onion, Italian sausage, aged parm and fresh basil. Not your usual pizza ingredients! All the toppings were super fresh and the pizzas were beyond amazing. To top it off, or I should say bottom it off, the pizza crusts were crispy and so very tasty. This was a terrific lunch and I rate Spartan Pizza at the very top of all pizza’s I have ever had! The folks making the pizzas were also our servers. I highly recommend this spot but I guess those hanging out on 6th street already know how superb this place is!

Found this super pizza joint last year when I was over at SXSW. Soon after we landed this year it was the first place we headed. Large size pizza is huge for one person, but do-able. Order almost anything you want, it's no trouble. Pizza dough nice, topping fresh. And nothing beats a pizza right from the oven. They were playing The Smiths when we were last there. Quality Pizza and Music. You cannot go wrong.!

Visited the area for work and stayed right around the corner. Awesome pizza and friendly staff, I had pizza every night!

Huge props to the Spartan peeps for providing amazing and prompt service on an order for 60 pizzas during a Start up Week event at Galvanize Austin. We fed roughly 700 people throughout the night and deliveries were HOT, actually hot, fresh pizza! Couldn't have been happier with the results. Great job guys thank you from all of us at Galvanize!

This pizza is amazing. Great ingredients, unique taste. Not the normal pizza place but it's delicious. Must have in Austin.
