Contribuer aux commentairesThe worst experience ever. The system was down n had to wait about 10 min to get the check. Then the waiters did it manually, n was charging me extra for a roll. Then I divided the check between my bank card n some cash from my cousin, she charged my card by mistake. She then reversed it but the refund would not show on my acct until 3 days from now. I went to talk to the manager because regardless of all the inconvenient, she didn't offer any discounts or coupons. Instead of apologizing, he said I should have gone talk to him before. I just told him: before when? It just happened. I will never ever visit this restaurant again.
The food is good, the service is good, and the price is good. What more could one want?
Server does not have a clue about wine at all. I had asked for Robert M, and he served something else- bad-acid-beater- I asked to see the Robert C bottle and he show up with a bottle of Tinchero trying to cover the label. I was charged 8.00 dollar plus tax for a 3 inch of red wine in a white wine glass. A bottle like this cost 2.99 at the supermarket. Food kept me at the toilet about 3 times the same night, 2 times here. The first time we ordered a dessert, brulet from catalunia, they do service this here. The only problem is that what they made is a joke, please a least have one in Spain and them learn how to made one before serving something. Will never be here again and will not recommended to anyone.
We had visitors from overseas and so took them to the Teppan-Yaki Bar at Aventura for dinner. The food was fantastic; our chef Jimmy was the best. The waitress was terrible however, she only brought us half our drinks and everything else seemed to be trouble. The problem I have is that as we were leaving she ran outside and started chasing us to our car. My husband saw her and jumped back up the escalator, where she told him our tip was not enough! We have both been in the hospitality business and we were under the impression that the tip reflects the quality of the service, not what the waitress decides is ;enough ;. If we were in any other country she would have deserved absolutely nothing, but tipping is customary here and the tip we left for her was more than enough by any standards. I am still in shock that she came running out after us, there were still people sitting at our table waiting for dessert! We felt like criminals. Unfortunately we did love the food at Sushi Siam but we will never go there for dinner again.
I'm not a cuisine expert but I just wanted to say that for me the best Japanese restaurant in Miami is Sushi Siam in Aventura Mall. My husband and I go there every single weekend, they have a great variety of food and they make the best rolls; you should try Dragon roll!
