You can turn off in a few places and if you are lucky, you can separate from the group and explore some of your own feeling like Indy . Definitely recommend a visit to the Dominican Republic.
Really interesting. Search for the Petroglyphs and learn the belief in 6-fingers that are witches and other cultural beliefs. Very fascinating. Very nice surroundings too.
Not only the cave, but above all the coast and islands as well as mangroves, the National Park Los Haitises is an amazing place to discover. I recommend renting a kayak and doing it on my own.
Cueva La Linea The rock art of the Los Haitises National Park is a surprising richness and diversity. It is obvious that his architects were people who dominated the sea and navigation techniques. The bay of San Lorenzo allowed them to move in a place of calm waters to protect themselves from the waves of the open sea. The extensive mangroves also gave them food in large quantities and the caves of refuge against the elements and ritual spaces where they celebrated their ancestral ceremonies. The protected area status of the entire area has enabled the survival of a pre-Hispanic cultural landscape of incomparable beauty and historical and archaeological interest. #CuevaLaLinea #LosHaitiss #DominicanRepublic #HasItAll
