Porkchop And Bubba's Bbq - Bakersfield

Halfway home from Las Vegas we decided to stop here for lunch, based on the reviews we knew we had to try it. I will say the only reason I'm giving them 4 stars is for not having Mac and cheese, it seems to be a favorite item. I got the brisket sandwich with a side of sweet potato fries. The brisket is hands down the best I have ever had, it was Smokey, juicy and super flavorful. It was so good I ordered a pound to take home: the sweet potato fries were sooo good, the flavor was perfect. The potato chips I ordered to go since it was already too much food, but I saw someone ordered them and I knew I wanted to try them. The chili cheese fries were really good, the fries were on the salty side, other than that they were perfect. It wasn't so busy, we got there around 1:30. The place was nice and quiet for a restaurant. It was a nice break to finish our 9 hour drive home. The young lady that helped us with was friendly and efficient. I loved how the have a table dedicated to the fallen soldiers.

BBQ at it's finest! Ribs, Brisket, Beans, Mac-n-Cheese, it's all delicious. My family has been eating here for years and it never disappoints.

Not my first trip to porkchop and bubba’s bbq. this trip was with my wife. we had the pit beef, brisket and pork rib. Watch them all was naked so that they can juicy it themselves, and this is an area that makes this place great; tasteful eating before they sauce! my wife had a knife with her ribs and I didn't even though I had discs of brisket. Before I blazed and asked for one, I tried the brisket. he was tender and pulled apart as if he slept. the taste was fleshy with a kiss of smoke. delicious the deep grub (pit bark) was amazing! I'll try it next time in a sandwich. the pork ribs were tender, but had a nice pop when you were in them. the fried okra was a few of the best in the city. who needs sauce? my son enjoyed a hot link sandwich that loved the caramelized veggies and the papst of the connection. it was a spicy and tasty bite. if they love bbq, they must try this bbq!

O M G! O M G! Do I have to add anything else? This place is an hidden gem! If you are close go there! You must! The meat was extremely delicious and so cooked to perfection that it melts in your mouth. It's not a figured speech. It's the way it is. The restaurant is really well designed inside, something special. Not too many seats, but just enough not to wait too long. You wanna surprise someone? This is the place you wanna go! Highly recommended.

Wow! The BBQ here has won me over. I can't wait to visit here again! The ribs were amazing,the Tri-tip is delicious, the brisket is tasty. I highly suggest that any BBQ fans need to give this place a try.
