Lazy Bear Grill - Barnum

There needs to be more restaurants like this. They have an amazing menu selection with great homemade recipes. Super kind staff and always great food. Their breakfast menu is incredible, my personal favorite is their homemade hash brown scramble with a cup of coffee, (yup, inhouse roasted beans.. . You could honestly spend hours in their unique giftshop. They have a gigantic assortment of really unique items. Did I mention that they serve hand scooped ice creams!

I forgot to take pics of the food... but I had an excellent patty melt. Their fresh bread was amazing. They also have homemade pies and hand cut fries. A friend had french toast and it was THICK cut and looked delicious.

We stopped here on the way back from Duluth, and chose the restaurant solely due to the large statue outside. When we arrived, we realized that all of the meals are homemade, and that the prices were EXTREMELY reasonable. (Most made-from-scratch restaurants have to charge more because they?re not ordering frozen food from a truck). The menu is very versatile, offering comfort food and all day breakfast as well! The food came out fast and was to die for. I had thesmall plate wild rice meatloaf with mashed potatoes, and was so full. The gift shop was very large and lined with many unique items- it wasn?t cheesy. I wish I would?ve gotten her name, but our lovely waitress (she has red hair) providedgreat service and was personable and friendly. 10/10 must stop here if you?re looking for an amazing dish and a dandy, cozy atmosphere!
