Breakfast option at lunchtime. BBQ is all good. Standard plate lunches, sandwiches, burgers, poboys. Authentic New Orleans style poboys are uncommon in Baton Rouge. While waiting to be seated another couple arrived, the hostess sat the “other” couple instead. My husband asked, “why seat them before us?”. Her response, I seated them at a large table, they are cleaning yours. It was obvious to us, the color of our skin landed us behind the couple who arrived later.
Big, delicious portions, great service. The place we locals eat.
The MOST friendly staff the MOST delicious food! If you are in Baton Rouge you MUST eat here! You will NOT find better tasting shrimp and grits anywhere!!!!!
Went for the first time- Great experience, it was busy but we didn’t have to wait long. Husband got the alligator sausage and the bacon I got was amazing, just cooked so perfectly and wasn’t that thin floppy stuff from other places.
