Sonic Drive-in - Baytown

Classic American favorite; a quick stop for fast food. The weather warmed up just enough to enjoy a late lunch outdoors. It was fantastic! Food rating: 3/5.

The tipping point for me was when I ordered a hot fudge sundae and a cherry sprite. While enjoying my treat, I found a long strand of what appeared to be hair in my ice cream. I reported the issue to a staff member, who informed the manager about the situation, but the manager was unwilling to speak to me. I was told my money would be refunded, but I had to pursue the refund myself. The location itself is unkempt, with a dirty exterior and large potholes in the parking lot. It’s clear that maintenance is lacking. The state of the outside gives a bad impression of what to expect in terms of cleanliness and service inside. Poor management, including the shift managers and the general manager, is clearly to blame for this disappointing experience. You have failed your crew and your company.

I visited this Sonic today and had a frustrating experience. My friend ordered a Powerade, and the person at the drive-thru window, wearing a blue hoodie, was quite rude. I came for just one item, but when the employee handed me the drink, it was overflowing and spilled on my lap while I was trying to balance it on my legs and use my phone. I was really disappointed. I asked to speak with the manager, as I felt this situation needed to be addressed.

I never have bad experiences in a restaurant than here. I went to 12/25/22 to Sonic. I just ordered a comb meal and a pulp. When I came into the window to pay, the cash register was extremely rude. When I got my food. It was totally wrong. I told her that this is not what I ordered, and she grabbed the bag from my hand. I asked about my money back and told me I don't know where my manager is. I told her I'm not leaving without my money.

I had the chicken fried steak sandwich and my wife had a number 1. We also had fries and tots. The food was delicious and we finished everything. What was notable was that this terrific meal was served on Christmas day.Food: 5/5
