On arriving at the Flying Horse, we were welcomed and shown to our table. All the staff were very friendly and the service excellent. We were not rushed but also not kept waiting. There were quite a few guests and obviously a lot of talking. Guests at a table close to us were a little loud but not a major problem. The background music was good but perhaps could have been a little lower. We are certainly returning. Price per person: £30–40
The service was genuinely really shocking. It took so long for anyone to attend to us that my 80 year old father went to the bar and was told he could order food and drinks there if he wanted. It then took a ridiculous amount of time for the food to arrive. Genuinely ridiculous. These weren’t complex dishes that took lengthy amounts of time to prepare. I’m afraid I have nothing positive to add to this experience I was genuinely shocked at how bad it really was
