The food is really good and the portions are big too! Especially be careful if you order soup, as you might end up with way more than you could possibly eat. I did get the left overs to take home the second time with no problem though (didn’t order soup but I think that would be possible too). The staff also kindly told us that maybe we were ordering a bit too much food and warned me that I was about to buy a 1 1/2 litre soda so be careful with that too! The biggest “complaint” I have is that the restaurant is a bit difficult to find. It’s located inside a residential area and you have to kinda go all the way to the back and then look around a bit for the sign and entrance. I highly recommend familiarising yourself with the front door that someone kindly posted a picture of! And don’t give up, the place is worth the treasure hunt! I do wish the staff would have said something to the customer, that came up and started taking pictures of me and my friends without our consent, but otherwise they were very friendly. We found it a bit awkward, when we wanted to pay and leave and the staff were sitting at another table and eating, but honestly that’s probably on us, since it’s just a cultural difference that I don’t want to disturb them while they eat but in China you need to speak up if you need something. Both times I went there the place was almost empty and pretty quiet. The decor is nothing super exciting but overall the place is nice enough. For some it might be a dealbreaker that the place has a tiny indoor pond kinda thing with live fish in it.
I have visited this restaurant a few times and highly recommend it. They offer delicious vegan Chinese dishes with friendly staff, great food, and reasonable prices.
I had an amazing experience at this restaurant. The staff was very friendly and helpful. When I placed my order, the lady who took it realized I had ordered too much and found another staff member who spoke English to inform me that the portion sizes were larger than they appeared in the menu photos. I ordered noodles with assorted veggies and was pleasantly surprised by the huge bowl of fresh noodles with five different types of mushrooms, goji berries, and ginger. The dumplings were also quite large and delicious. The restaurant is easy to locate using Google Maps, as the coordinates are accurate. Just follow the directions and you'll find it easily.
The restaurant is very easy to find with a large green sign outside, as shown in the pictures. The staff were friendly and had to stop us from ordering too much food. I went with two meat eaters who enjoyed the lamb shashlik. I particularly recommend the variety of mushrooms available and would return for the gluten and black fungus dish. I am disappointed that I cannot come here every day.
The restaurant was really hard to find. We had to ask a local to explain us how to get there. Luckily we finally managed to find this place. The restaurant is not too busy as it was almost empty when we came for lunch. The menu was massive and had a picture of every dish which was very convenient. The food was delicious (however slightly too oily) and really cheap. It was the cheapest restaurant of all the ones we visited in China. Staff was nice and helpful. I will definitely visit again when I'm in Beijing!
