The restaurant is not too busy as it was almost empty when we came for lunch. The menu was massive and had a picture of every dish which was very convenient. The food was delicious (however slightly too oily) and really cheap. It was the cheapest restaurant of all the ones we visited in China. Staff was nice and helpful. I will definitely visit again when I'm in Beijing!
Nice local restaurant with really good food. I came there twice while I was in Beijing and also bought take away a few times. The food is really good and the portions are big too! Especially be careful if you order soup, as you might end up with way more than you could possibly eat. I did get the left overs to take home the second time with no problem though (didn’t order soup but I think that would be possible too). The staff also kindly told us that maybe we were ordering a bit too much food and warned me that I was about to buy a 1 1/2 litre soda so be careful with that too! The biggest “complaint” I have is that the restaurant is a bit difficult to find. It’s located inside a residential area and you have to kinda go all the way to the back and then look around a bit for the sign and entrance. I highly recommend familiarising yourself with the front door that someone kindly posted a picture of! And don’t give up, the place is worth the treasure hunt! I do wish the staff would have said something to the customer, that came up and started taking pictures of me and my friends without our consent, but otherwise they were very friendly. We found it a bit awkward, when we wanted to pay and leave and the staff were sitting at another table and eating, but honestly that’s probably on us, since it’s just a cultural difference that I don’t want to disturb them while they eat but in China you need to speak up if you need something. Both times I went there the place was almost empty and pretty quiet. The decor is nothing super exciting but overall the place is nice enough. For some it might be a dealbreaker that the place has a tiny indoor pond kinda thing with live fish in it.
This restaurant offers vegan Chinese dishes that I have been here a few times and can really recommend it. good food, good prices
This place is fantastic, friendly staff the dame that took my order found another person who spoke English to tell me that I probably ordered too much and that portions are larger than on menu pictures. I had noodles with sorted vegetables-it was a huge bowl of fresh noodles with 5 different types of mushrooms, goji berry and ginger. the dumplings were also great. the place is really easy to find with Google maps, the coordinates are accurate, so they just follow the directions.
Very easy to find, due to the huge green sign outside (see pictures) and staff very nice, although they had to board to stop us from ordering the entire menu! sat with two carnivores and they were also very happy (especially with the lamb schashlik!) I would really recommend that I add the range of mushrooms, and would be pure again for the gluten and black dishes. very sad not to come here every day.
