When we mentioned that we were vegan, she prepared a vegan manti, salad, and lentil soup for us. In Turkey, these dishes are a delight for those following a plant-based diet. The cost for two people was only $10. The host even insisted we return the next morning, where we were surprised with freshly made baklava and cookies for our journey, all provided free of charge. This place is a must-visit for its hospitality and overall experience!
We were filled with hope when we arrived at this restaurant, arriving hungry after a long day without eating. Unfortunately, our experience was disappointing. Despite our hunger, my friend couldn't even finish his meal. It was the most expensive dinner we had during our week in Turkey, and also the worst. The portions were small and overpriced, and there were very limited basic vegan options available. I ordered fried tofu with a side of white rice, which cost me 50 lira (including water). My friend had white rice with mostly cabbage and vegetables in a spicy broth, along with a coke, also costing 50 lira. Surprisingly, the white rice was the most enjoyable part of the meal. With so many Turkish and Chinese restaurants in the area, I would suggest trying those options before dining here.
What a fantastic discovery! I would give you five stars if I could. My family and I were delighted to come across Payanark Thai Restaurant. As fans of Asian cuisine, we were pleasantly surprised to find them in Pamukkale. The owners exceeded our expectations with their amazing cooking skills. We especially enjoyed the spicy curry and delicious Thai pad. Not only do they excel in cooking, but they are also incredibly friendly and hospitable. It was a pleasure to meet them. They were also very generous, offering the children a rice dish on both nights of our visit, as well as other delightful extras that made us very happy. They even treated us to a stuffed pepper that was prepared by Hasan's mother, as they thought we would appreciate it being vegan. Such thoughtfulness! We highly recommend this place. They were very accommodating to our dietary needs and provided excellent food and outstanding service. We truly enjoyed our experience. Thank you Hasan and Romyen. We will definitely be recommending your restaurant to others!
I went there 3 times while i was traveling in Pamukkale. I was happy to find a vegan friendly place on the app in this city. I took the red curry with a salad the first time. Then the 2nd time just the salad cause the city had a problem with electricity. I went back later the same day and they could make a vegan pad thai for me. They offer tea of coffe and even water for free which is very rare in turkey. I recommend this place for every vegan traveler : they even give bigger portion for vegans such a kind couple
