The staff were all very polite, and I want to give a special shoutout to Max, who was exceptionally friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. I will definitely return to this restaurant in the future.
We made a reservation for a table for 2 just an hour and a half before a show at the nearby Waterfront. The service was incredibly slow, so slow in fact that we had to cancel our dessert as there wasn't enough time. They had very limited options for those who are gluten-free and the waitress had little knowledge about it. Unfortunately, they were unable to provide gluten-free biscuits to accompany the cheese.
I visited a restaurant at 8:15 pm, which advertised a closing time of 9:30 pm. I waited at the door for a table for 10 minutes while the staff were busy setting up tables. Eventually, someone sat me at a table and took my drink order. After waiting for 25 minutes with no drinks or food order taken, no staff member had come over to help. I ended up leaving the restaurant and cancelling my missing drink order.
It was supposed to be a super day out. Lunch, a show followed by dinner How can a major hotel of iconic status get it all so wrong. I mean it 's not difficult to make a chease toasty is it ? Oh that 's before I stood at the bar for 10 minutes infront of the cash till whilst the bar staff assiduously ignored me . In the end I placed a menu on my heard and said out very loud and repeatedly Is my invisibility cloak still working Finally a response . What a pity I bothered! The key ingredient of a chease sandwich
The bar and restaurant staff were lovely. Special shout out to Micah who was a brilliant. She went over and above. The food was just nice but my steak was over cooked. The staff definitely made this restaurant 4 star. If just judging on food alone it would be 3.5*
