PHENOMENAL STRING CHEESE. not like a gas station but thick and as you pull apart the cheese multiple strings come layering off. The cheese is slightly salty which I love. It is now a must whenver we see the sister in law up in Sheboygan...not that far out of the way.
OOOMMMGGG!! Their cheese is the absolute BEST I've ever had! I don't live in Wisconsin anymore, so when I visit I always have to drive up to get cheese curds and string cheese. I do like their provolone also. The cheese curds are squeaky and salty, best at room temperature if you ask me. The string cheese is good anytime, always smooth and pulls apart nicely. This will forever be my go-to cheese store!
If you want real cheese, you have to stop here!! The best cheese ever. You have ice cream, beautiful gifts, wine, sandwiches it is a must to see. Love squeaky fresh cheese curds and string cheese, then it's a stop you need to make.... You are welcome. Have fun.
Whether you are ftom Wisconsin or not, this cheese shop is so much fun to visit! They have so many choices of specialty dishes of cheese, and Cedar Crest ice cream, they also offer other Wisconsin favorites. You have a good Wisconsin wine selection and a really sweet gift shop if you are looking for a great gift! You can even eat or go ice cream! Primary hours are 8 am to 6 pm 7 days a week and in summer Fridays are open up to 7. They are directly on Hwy 57 and Jay Rd, very convenient location. Look at her!
Ooooh, so delicious, and an easy, picturesque drive from the highway. This place is both a cheese shop and a gift store. We bought several sharp cheddars, including an amazing horseradish and dill block, dill and garlic cheese curds, and another block that was aged 12 years. We also had a great lunch from their lunch counter. Compared to other cheese shops, it was cooler because they have the plant attached to the shop
