The '401 - Bellaire

I've taken several people here because every single dish that I've had from them is absolutely, perfectly balanced and delicious. They have some of the most attentive staff I have ever experienced, too! If I hadn't made a wrong turn that fateful day, I would never have known they existed! and the best part is that everything is very reasonably priced. I go as often as I can :

While in town for the Taylor Swift concert, my friend and I were looking for a place that had a good bit of options to snore they had something for everyone. I came across this place on Yelp and saw their wide variety so we went with this one and I'm so glad we did! We went for lunch on a Friday and it wasn't packed at all. The inside of the restaurant was super cute and I could see people going there for a special occasion like a birthday dinner. I ordered the steak sandwich and it was so so good! I will say I wish the bread was toasted or a different kind of bread because it was very bready. I also felt like I needed more of a sauce on my sandwich to make it a little less dry. Other than that, everything else was pretty delicious as well as the fries with their home made ranch which I was obsessed with and even put some on my sandwich!

I went to an event that was catered by 401 and it was great! I was extremely impressed by their bar setup and the Lavender bees knees was delicious and extremely strong! It was served in a large cup but you can tell it is definitely more like a martini. The catered food was also delicious, I particularly liked the little crab bites.The service was very good too! The catering staff was very friendly and floated throughout the event unnoticed.

A gracious welcome, accommodating our needs and requests. Our server exemplified the art of always appearing when needed without ever intruding, was helpful, friendly and patient. We loved the vegetarian menu choices and the specialty drinks. We will definitely be back.Vegetarian options: Delicious vegan/vegetarian bowls. We had the Vegan Smoky Poblano Bowl, the Power Bowl and the Salmon Salad with Avocado Crema. All were tasty and beautiful. Vegetarian pizzas delivered to neighboring tables looked amazing.
