The '401 - Bellaire

I've taken several people here because every single dish that I've had from them is absolutely, perfectly balanced and delicious. They have some of the most attentive staff I have ever experienced, too! If I hadn't made a wrong turn that fateful day, I would never have known they existed! and the best part is that everything is very reasonably priced. I go as often as I can :

While in town for the Taylor Swift concert, my friend and I were looking for a place that had a good bit of options to snore they had something for everyone. I came across this place on Yelp and saw their wide variety so we went with this one and I'm so glad we did! We went for lunch on a Friday and it wasn't packed at all. The inside of the restaurant was super cute and I could see people going there for a special occasion like a birthday dinner. I ordered the steak sandwich and it was so so good! I will say I wish the bread was toasted or a different kind of bread because it was very bready. I also felt like I needed more of a sauce on my sandwich to make it a little less dry. Other than that, everything else was pretty delicious as well as the fries with their home made ranch which I was obsessed with and even put some on my sandwich!

I went to an event that was catered by 401 and it was great! I was extremely impressed by their bar setup and the Lavender bees knees was delicious and extremely strong! It was served in a large cup but you can tell it is definitely more like a martini. The catered food was also delicious, I particularly liked the little crab bites.The service was very good too! The catering staff was very friendly and floated throughout the event unnoticed.
