Good home cooking at reasonable prices. Open for breakfast and lunch, staffed by friendly folks and plenty of options available. My wife and I stopped in for breakfast at about 6:30 on a Tuesday morning. There were just a few other people there and our food was hot, fresh and came out quickly. If you're looking for a No-Frills breakfast or lunch definitely add this to your list of options.
Mary's Place is just you're good down home cooking! Located in the heart of Belleview in a quaint little Motel with a No-Frills Ambiance in this restaurant the food says it all. We had breakfast consisting of pecan Belgian waffles, country grits, amazing Homestyle biscuits and gravy along with eggs sausage and hash browns. Servers were very attentive always right there filling your coffee and making sure you are enjoying your meal. The menu also consisted of many home cooked country food options and specials you don't find anywhere else. It was our first time there but they were very busy and you could tell they had a lot of loyal local customers. Open for breakfast and lunch up to 2 p.m. it may have been our first time there but it will definitely not be our last. You should definitely try you won't be disappointed! Update Memorial Day Weekend 2018 we have now been going to Mary's Place almost every weekend since my first review. We always sit in Courtney section and she is nothing less than fantastic! We have tried many different items on the menu and have never been disappointed! This to me is amazing because I can be real critical when it comes to food. Unfortunately they are only open 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. otherwise we would probably grab dinner there a couple nights a week. Their prices, quality and quantity of food, and all around welcoming attitude and service is refreshing. Thought I would give this a little update it is now October 11th and unfortunately my health has taken a disastrous turn for the worst but I was scrolling through my pictures and wanted to post some of the ones I forgot to. We still get take out but miss being there in person but hopefully we will be there soon seeing everybody's smiling faces!
Great little diner in Belleview for breakfast and lunch with very good prices. Friendly people keeping an eye on you and even having conversations as well making you feel even more at home.
First visit...would go again. I had the Ruben and sweet potato fries. Very tasty. Fries were not fresh cut but tasted good. Ruben was excellent. Staff was very friendly. Sweet tea was good. Took about 45 minutes for food to arrive (it was very busy) and they brought food for one person but not the other until maybe 3-5 minutes later. I heard the people at the table beside us tell the waitress their food was cold (hot roast beef sandwich). Exit door was rather filthy looking and I really did not want to touch it. I reached high up on door for a spot that looked clean to push open.
