Sparks - Belmont

We recently returned to Tiffin Service Center for breakfast and lunch. It remains a popular spot for a local men's group that meets daily to discuss various topics over a simple meal. The staff is friendly, and the food is satisfactory. Prices are in line with current inflation trends. You order at the counter, and your food is brought to your table.

I had breakfast here with my family and the experience was quite enjoyable. You order at the counter and the staff brings the food to your table. The pancakes were excellent, and the eggs over easy were served with one broken yolk. The bacon was crispy and tasty, while the hash browns were decent. The toast was okay, but it was served with margarine instead of real butter, which was a bit disappointing. The prices were reasonable. The restaurant has an older vibe, but it effectively meets basic needs and seems to be a popular spot for local coffee enthusiasts.

While waiting for our Tiffin, we were quite hungry, so we decided to stop by the restaurant, and it did not disappoint! We had the chicken tenders, green beans, and boiled new potatoes, all of which were absolutely delicious. For dessert, we enjoyed a fantastic German chocolate cake! My husband ordered the meatloaf, which came with green beans and corn. You definitely won't be disappointed!

Clearly a former cafeteria style restaurant that 's pivoted to register order/table service and they 're handling it well. We 're full time RVers (like many of the non local clientele, I would guess) and we 've seen how COVID and the economic shift have affected businesses nationwide Sparks is doing just fine in the face of labor issues. Prices are reasonable and the food is great. The biscuits are terrific, the cream gravy is peppery enough to wake you up a bit, and the staff is friendly and outgoing.

Had been here before and weren't happy but with very limited options we tried again. Ordering off the menu we got almost warm food, I could hold my hand on the fries and corn dogs with no problem. Never did finish the corn dogs, just bad and not cooked well. Could not have been made freshly.
