The Woodhouse - Bendigo

We been to Woodhouse many times, but yesterday was different. The staff seemed new and they dont even smile. May be because we were the last booking at 8.30pm. The food was not up to their usual standard we ordered the experience menu). Had to ask three times to fill the water. They used to explain the content of each course and when the dessert arrived, the staff asked us do u need to know what is in it , I replied No thanks. Spent nearly $400 and did not feel the value.

GREAT STEAK RESTAURANT!!!!!! HAVE DINED HERE MANY OF TIMES AND WILL BE BACK AGAIN.

My son, son in law and I enjoyed very much our visit to the Woodhouse. We went for the lovely steaks, a nice local red wine and we were not disappointed. We loved it! The service was the best with friendly banter with the staff topping off the evening nicely. My son and I are already planning our next visit in the coming months!
