Beresfield Tavern Bistro

Lunch at the tavern was just beautiful. Great sized meals which you can get takeaway as well. Steak cooked to perfection with a beautiful hot pepper gravy. Best dressing Ive ever tried on the salad. Good atmosphere and food is consistently great.

Great food consistently, good size, plenty of great flavours. Large menu to chose from with specials every week. Nightly specials such as Schnitzel night, Steak night, Sunday roast. Great atmosphere, plenty of locals to spin a yarn with. Recommend both tavern and bistro for a visit. Traditional fare such as lambs fry and chicken schnitzels as well as curries, lasagne and other delectable dishes.

We live locally but this was our first visit to the 'Bero' tavern. You remember the old days when pub food was pretty basic, sausage and veg, curried sausage and veg, burger and chips and steak?...well this is Bero Tavern. The ambience as more basic than the food but having said that, for the money we paid it was great! Friendly staff and not too busy this night. Fresh and tasty. The basic veg was mash, carrot, broccoli and beans, but done well. I had battered fish. Hubby had a rump steak and a beer deal for Thursday night for $20. Other nights have similar range of food and drink deal. If we had bought similar in other local pubs within 10klm we would have paid double for our meal. If you like basic pub grub and basic decor, then this is a good spot for you too!

Have visited this place often and it never fails. Good selection of choices, steaks, pizza, seafood etc all at reasonable prices. Dining room is a bit squeezy, but there is an extensive dining area between the Tavern and the dining room. Service is great, good range of wines available from the bar.

Dinner with 12. Meals served promptly, service fantastic. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed every meal. Talented chef. Would recommend. Great meal sizes well priced. True pub grub with daily specials.
