I asked for some spice on the thai yaki soba dish and it came out at the perfect level. Definitely coming back!Food: 5/5
Very nice spot! The food was incredibly delicious, and the lunch special basically let me get rice, an egg roll, and a nice salad for what basically amounted to an extra dollar. I got the eggplant stir fry with chicken, and it was definitely worth going back for. It also seems like a lot of the food could be vegetarian (if you don't mind fish sauce), because it's added on to a base dish that doesn't necessarily have meat in it. The service was also excellent, and the decor had a very fun vibe that felt unique and full of character. The Thai Tea was also very good, but I've also never met a Thai Tea I didn't love.
Visited and I was impressed with the menu and the interior design. Food was higher quality and prices were good compared to other stores. The staff are friendly but are often too busy and will not catch requests for service. Nonetheless, Would definitely recommend!Kid-friendliness: A friendly and safe environment
I used to love Learn on University Ave. so I checked out this restaurant. My ginger tea came with sugar, which I can't consume. I wish they had told me they serve sweetened ginger tea only. I ordered the Tom Kha with vegetables only so that I did't have to risk GMO tofu. It came with just a few pieces of mushrooms and sliced carrots. It tasted like it was watered down, not like Tom Kha at other restaurants, which has a rich coconut milk flavor. It was also too salty for me. The staff person was nice enough and did not charge for the tea, which was appreciated. The prices were reasonable . . . also appreciated. I will probably not return.
This cute little spot has been providing authentic Thai food for the community over 30 years. My favorite dish from them was definitely the papaya salad and the duck. The decorations inside and the the color scheme was so beautiful. You’ll need to come and take a look for it yourself. The customers varied from ages and ethnicity, so you know this place is definitely the date night spot.I took the wifey here after we did some sightseeing in Berkeley. The food came out quick and the host/workers were very cordial and friendly.Wifey loved the the beef pad see ew and the pumpkin curry. Can’t go wrong with the yummy Thai ice tea! Until next time, Tiger Out ?
