Machete Burrito - Berlin

This place, a hide little gem.We discovered this place on Trip Advisor. Went along and it was packed! It's quite a small place, but was full, people waiting and lots of deliveries.It can seat about 10 people, so be prepared to wait. Thankfully we didn't have to. There are also seats outside, but it's was quite chilli (get it?!) on the night we ate here. We had the nachos, chilli con carne burrito, and the chimichurri chicken burrito. Both disappeared in seconds!! The chilli con carne, this was honestly the best burrito I have ever had. I'm not a big burrito person, but after this, I'll be a regular customer. It was so fresh, full of flavour, and the wrap was cooked so well. The cooking of the wrap probably made it, if that makes any sense! The chicken burrito, this was equally as good. But for me the beef won. The nachos, again - the way they cooked the chips was what made this dish. They were the best nachos I have had in Berlin. Everything here is freshly prepared for the customer, but the produce is equally as fresh. The place has a great selection of beers, soft drinks and some ciders. Finally, the staff. Possibly the nicest chef ladies / servers in Berlin. Three girls killing it at burrito making! There are two young girls behind the till taking orders while also making the warps. For an extremely busy place, they should be proud of what they produce, the speed at which they produce it and the friendly service they provide at the till. Great place and we will defiantly be regulars here.Price wise: decent! €39 for two burritos, nachos and three drinks.

Cosy little place in Friedrichstein. We immensely enjoyed the variety of burritos to choose from. Never tried a turkey burrito in my life and it was simple but delicious. Also I loved nachos with meat and cheese. The key ingridient to both meals was guacamole and it was brilliant.

I eat at Machete every time I am in Berlin. Their burritos are excellent, service is fun and friendly, the prices are perfect. You can call ahead for a burrito for lunch, which makes it fast and easy.

We went to this place because I read some good comments about it and the burrito tasted really good! The place is small but the service was friendly and they speak Spanish so that was great. I recommend it.

Absolutely love their big juicy burritos. The only thing i would love to improve, is some freely used sauces.. i do understand guacamole and cream cheese to be of additional cost, but adding some basic salsas should not be as extras. Otherwise i would have given 6 stars ;)
