My friend who has been living in berlin for two years, brought me here yesterday in berlin, so I can experience a traditional German food. the deep fried pork knuckle it is something I will think about when I think about berlin
Friedrichshain is a cool and lively neighbourhood with many restaurants of all the genomes and in the midst of everything this old-fashioned German food from the time before the world's turn. the königsberger klopse (meat balls) wsre the best we...everyone tasted everywhere in Germany. the swedish with sour wort (pork knuckle with cabbage) was in order, but it is much better everywhere in bayern. the waiter was a funny (and very busy) guy, who, together with the excellent berliner pilsener, made us laugh pretty much.
I had the Königsberger Klopse. Really great value for the money and absolutely delicious! The personal was very nice and you can sit outside and enjoy a beer and the atmosphere of Friedrichsain.
My 2 sons and I ate here. We had to wait for a table as there were so many locals there, what a great sign. Our servers were helpful and attentive. Our meals were outstanding. I highly recommend this spot and the neighbourhood it is...in is interesting as well. I will go back there when I return.
