Dinghy Bar - Bezirk Zuerich

We just had lunch at moudis with a friend and enjoyed the mezze very much. The variety was excellent and all elements were tasty and portions generous. For Zurich standards the meal was reasonably priced. They also make their own iced tea which is well worth a try. Service is friendly and the location is picturesque at this time of year.

I ate at Moudi's Bar and Restaurant with friends on a weekday night. The food was very tasty, the decor of the restaurant bar is very nice, and the atmosphere was good - a little bit loud, but still, fun.The service, however, was not great. We sat at our table for ages before the service managed to get around to us. It looked to me like a lot of people working, and yes it was busy, but 25 minutes sitting at a table without being talked to is a bit much. If you are a popular restaurant and summer is a busy time for you - hire more servers. The portion size is small! We ordered mezze to share and at 37 CHF a person, I expected more. It was all tasty and nicely presented, but the size of the portions is tiny. On the whole, I would probably go again but not only order Mezze. The atmosphere is fun, the servers (when we had them at our table) were very nice, the food was tasty, but on the whole an average experience. After hearing so much good about Moudi's - I expected to be thrilled. Let's see what happens next time...

Came here with my mom on a nice, warm evening. Turned out the kitchen want yet open, but we decided to wait half an hour for it to open. Ordered a burger for my little brother and mezze to share: hummus, tzatziki, dolma, lamb kebabs, and moussaka. Everything (maybe except for the dolma, which I wasn't sure I liked in the first place) was excellent! Hearty portions, great, authentic taste. Will be returning!

I had dinner here with a friend and it was a great experience to try all the small dishes they have on offer. The location is pleasant and ideal for summertime with the large outdoor terrace by the river. In winter I can imagine it would be a little cosy inside. Staff were friendly and helpful with recommendations. Only thing that let the place down was that the flatbread they offered was rather dry. Otherwise I certainly recommend to couples or small groups.
