Rail coach restaurant is situated in Hotel Lake View Ashok Shamla Hills. A joint venture of MP Tourism and ITDC. A unique place to enjoy dining in a rail coach . Was started around 8 years back in a Rail Coach standing on a Railway platform with a feeling of dining while travelling. Good service ,very good food .Ambiance is very good.

This restaurant is one of its kind with great ambience and delicious food. This railway themed restaurant has rail like environment. This is really a romantic place. In evening you can sit outside and enjoy your meals with live music

We went to enjoy our dinner in a group of 6 persons. The historical wagon converted into a restaurant....the entire story is hidden in the menu itself. the dishes named are allusion interesting read. they have been named showing an alliance with our rich rail history. the staff though belonging to govt sector, knows the etiquette of hospitality. the ambience by singing band....the taste of the dishes....bumps like rail ride are some the few features.worth tryingstrongly recommended

Whenever I am in Bhopal, I always make sure to have dinner at this place. It is clean, well-lit, and beautifully decorated. I ordered Manchow soup and Chicken Biryani, and the total bill came to around 600. The portions were more than enough for two people. Our server, Mr. Sagar, was very friendly and provided excellent service, making our experience even more enjoyable and memorable. Additionally, the restaurant has plenty of parking space available.

The restaurant has a wonderful atmosphere and offers excellent food at a reasonable price. The staff are polite, but could be more professional. When we arrived for an early dinner on August 7th at 6:50 pm, we were asked to come back in 10 minutes as the restaurant opened at 7 pm. We returned at 7:10 pm, but were then asked if we had a reservation, which we did not. The staff did not offer to make a reservation when we arrived early. Eventually, we were able to get a table. It is recommended that customers make sure to book a table in advance.
