I've been here before and the experience wasn't great, it wasn't the food but the fact that if you wanted to have a coffee on the balcony it was extra. But on Sunday I was riding back from Jenolan caves and riding a bike in winter I needed some hot coffee. So arrived at 10am and they were closed, the owner did admit he was running late and he could have a coffee going in 20 mins. As I was frozen I decided to wait. So 30 mins later coffee arrived, weak and too sweet, so after a couple of mouth fills it went into the bin. They have a large selections of pies and preserves. These should be good as they come from reputable Australian companies otherwise little to recommend. When going over bells line road I'll hold my coffee addiction until either Lithgow or Windsor in future.
The food was favourless and the service was rude. The apples had no favour and they were just rude people. The pastry was dry and they went on about hygiene when they're not using gloves and there flies everywhere, the flies where going on food.
Le Chalet is the best deal I found in FranceFor 15 EUR, you get a full three course meal that is delicious.
I don't know what these over-sensitive types are on about. The coffee is good - very good. You think you know coffee? Most people do but they'll enjoy it at Michelle's P. The pie was nice and I did get it with ice cream. It's an optional extra. The shop was a welcome change from the places where the swill people charge for they call coffee. The pastry was fresh and made on premises. It's also got a killer view and outdoor seating.
