I have read many reviews for Thai restaurants in Blacktown, and this place had decent ratings. Instead of my usual Thai spots where the portion sizes are often overestimated, I decided to try Thai Spice Express. I ordered the vegetarian spring rolls, which were larger than at other places and had a unique taste due to the variety of vegetables used. They could have had more vegetables to prevent the rolls from feeling too loose and becoming mostly crust, but they were still enjoyable. I also ordered the peanut satay skewers, expecting them to be average, but they turned out to be delicious chicken pieces that filled the box almost completely. The sauce seemed thick, but it was actually flavorful and packed with taste, unlike other places that serve bland sauces. The dish had a good balance of flavors and textures, with crispy and tender elements. I paid $15 for my meal, which was so large that I couldn't finish it and saved the rest for dinner. Overall, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and quantity of food at Thai Spice Express.
I've beaten a laune. very tasty and good value. the menu is pretty good and we were served moderately by a friendly waitress. very simple, but I don't think they're trying to be a 5-star restaurant. I'll be back.
We went to a Thai restaurant on a Saturday night and decided to give it another try. We had enjoyed our meals there before, but this time we were disappointed. The food was bland and drowning in sauce.
Always good tasty Thai food served here for lunch. Well priced, quick service, great spot to meet up for a quick local non formal business lunch.
