We were not in applebees (blue springs) in a long time when the peculiarity changed and thus the quality. we visited about 6 months ago and it was greatly improved. with a gift card we decided to give it another shot. we sat immediately (only about 1/2 full) our server jamie g took our drinks orders, gave some hints on menu points and placed our order. another person delivered our meals, not a big thing, but it might take 5-7 minutes to see how the dings are. during the waiting I went before and ate the lukewarm kartoffels and luke warm brokkoli. I let them know that the well made steak is pink, deal breaker for me. she apologised and returned approx. 4-5 minutes later (wife is ready with her dinner now.) the steak was good, but what a debockle. I understand that the cook didn't keep him on the grill anymore and she had no idea, but if she had checked for her customers a little earlier, it wouldn't have been so unpleasant. now the table next to us, were all drinking margaritas, jamie sure checked them frequently and every time asked if they needed another margarita. the total service was bad, personality under the average, next visit if there is one, we need to ask who section is in and decide whether we stay. jamie is simply not on her game and seemed like she really didn't want to be there. (from what we saw it appeared she had 4 tabs.) room for improvement. we have seen once or twice in week frequent din-in place and have exceptional service, average service, working and exhausted service and only inexperienced service. this was the later and support our server as possible.

It's a past since we ate at applebee, but we were not disappointed, and liz, our server, has actually made the experience the best part. (we knew that eating was going well)
