We had an order of around 40 cupcakes/muffins that were for our mother’s day brunch at my restaurant. We were very excited to show support to the small local Gluten-Free business. Unfortunately, almost all of the staff that we dealt with was rude to us anytime we reached out about the order and anyone we talked to was confused about who they were talking to and what we were asking for. One of the employees was extremely short and rude to us on the phone and said we weren’t allowed to get anymore cupcakes. They then called back and briefly kind of apologized but even when the items were being picked up they were still just rude. It’s unfortunate because our restaurant is catered towards the Gluten-Free and celiac community and we no longer want to do business with them. Their cupcakes were okay. Half of our customers enjoyed them but half of them said they were just okay and somewhat gritty. I know mother’s day must be a big holiday for a bakery but the way we were treated as another small business trying to give them more business just makes us very sad.
I love this place! The gf bread is outstanding. My favorite thing to get is their BLT and the other items I've tried are good too.
Professional, pleasant, does not rush customers, clean, great ambiance, well lighted, great vegan food taste. Benefits of being vegan are magnified by a restaurant of this caliber. Super applause for locating on Troost.
I have Celiac Disease and have always found comfort in this shop. I love everything about it, from the vibe to the food. My friend, who is neither gluten free nor vegan, also really enjoyed it.
